In this case, its both. A buzz of excitement that tends to rise around late Monday in anticipation of a cool, creative time. As Wednesday approaches and we start to see posts from various artists and photographers, I've noticed that for me, it feels like being invited to a family function with all of my favorite cousins who just "get me."
When you walk in you're greeted by everyone with smiles and eyes that simply embrace your entire evening and erases the wear of the days end. The lights are low and the stage is set with thought-provoking, avant-garde artistry..we begin.
Our journey into the creative and individual expression of ourselves, is set aglow by the subject that graces the glare of the lights in the divine form of.. the muse.
As soon as these lovely subjects come to the platform, there is a metamorphosis that happens only at stillLife session....they go from models ... to muses.
The eye of the photographers and the hands of the sketch artists exquisitely interpret each facet of these jewels and it is absolutely electric. Artistic expression at its finest...in an environment where your craft will inevitably be primed to progress through practice.
